Kai acts on his own. Read what he does, and act whenever you want. Every move works any time, but its effect depends on how he is at that moment. Moves take a few seconds, and they cost energy.
When you do nothing, you get yourself ready (bag, keys). That is useful, but you are not watching him.
Leave with Pick him up and go. There are two scores: the task (on time, breakfast, bag) and the connection.
